Keeping your Mac up to date

A few years ago, CNET had an application for Windows that acted like Microsoft Update but for all the other programs on your computer.

For some reason they stopped making it :(

For a few months now on my macs, I've been using AppFresh. It uses online software version repositories to check your installed software against the latest versions.

I'll update this article when I feel a little better with a little more meat.

Swine Influenza

For those that don't know via Facebook, I currently have swine flu. I'm on day 4 of the Tamiflu and so far haven't had any side effects. Quarantine would be so dull if it weren't for my beautiful girlfriend and my iPhone :-)

Tech blogging

I've decided that although I no longer work in IT, I miss tech blogging. As such I'm going to resume as soon as. This time it will be about Macs and iPhones, gadgets as well as some stuff about applications.
